Seems like Guo Zhi Gi (bass) has left B.B.Bomb to form her own band, wanting to play pure punk rock, while leadsinger FuFu tries to add more different influences. At the same time FuFu has started a new sideproject band called Bye Bye Bitch, that is intended be a statement “against riot grrrls who just act and dress bitchy”.
Candy Wine have recorded some new demo songs and are finally planning to release their first full lenght album. In general their new songs sound more poppy. Check out “It’s Fake”, one of their 2007 demo songs below:

Just returned from their China tour, on which they were supported by acts like Hang on the Box and Hard Candy, we caught FuFu, the leadsinger of Taiwan’s most promising riot grrrl band B.B.Bomb for an exclusive interview.
SAT: How did you you guys meet and how did your band get started?
FuFu: At the 2003 “Say Yes To Taiwan Festival” I saw the Show of the Japanese rockband “softball”‘ and I started to also want to play punk music and form a girl band. Until now,we still have no fix girl drummer, so we always need to find a male drummer to help us out. Our last substitute drummer told us that his girlfriend loves our band and also plays guitar, so eventually she played some shows with us. After our China tour bass and I found that we don’t need a second guitar, we thought one guitar is better than now, so the second guitarist left.
