As Weilin, singer of Taiwan’s girl rockers Candy Wine, told me today, they plan to finally release their first full lenght album in 2008! Since they want to include various music styles, it seems to become more poppy than their older stuff. Seems like Guo Zhi Gi (bass) has left B.B.Bomb to form her own band, wanting to play pure punk rock, while leadsinger FuFu tries to add more different influences. At the same time FuFu has started a new sideproject band called Bye Bye Bitch, that is intended be a statement “against riot grrrls who just act and dress bitchy”.

Candy Wine have recorded some new demo songs and are finally planning to release their first full lenght album. In general their new songs sound more poppy. Check out “It’s Fake”, one of their 2007 demo songs below:
